Scarlett Johansson: Not Playing a Porn Star

Despite circulating reports and Jenna Jameson's hopes that the actress is just the right mix of sexy and mysterious, Scarlett Johansson will not portray the porn star in the film adaptation of her autobiography.

"Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project," says a rep for the actress. "She also has no interest in playing this role."

Speaking with PEOPLE at the Comic Con convention in San Diego this weekend, Jameson, 33, said she was smitten with the 22-year-old Johansson after seeing her Golden Globe-nominated turn in the 2003 film Lost in Translation.

"I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy," Jameson said. "I was like, 'This girl could play me.' "

With her penchant for old-style Hollywood glamour, she is often compared to Marilyn Monroe.

But on her days off, Scarlett Johansson obviously likes to take it down a notch.

During an afternoon out in New York, she wandered along in a pair of khaki shorts, a vest and a pair of comfy pumps.

Just like any other 22-year-old, she had dabbled with a few off-the-wall accessories – a silver ring through her septum and what appeared to be a fake tattoo.

She also appeared unconcerned about revealing a fair expanse of shapely thigh.

Scarlett Johansson Isn’t Going Nude

Scarlett Johansson is insisting on a no-nudity clause in all her movie contracts. The curvaceous 22-year-old is determined to be seen as a serious actress and now won’t commit to any role without the clause.
A source is quoted by Britain’s Daily Express newspaper as saying: “Scarlett is still very young and is aware the roles she takes are going to set out where her career as an actress takes her in the future.
“She doesn’t want to fall into being too controversial or too trashy so nude scenes are out for now.”
