John Mayer and Jessica Simpson have called it quits.
A source close to the couple tells Usmagazine.com, "[John] was just over her. He wasn't into her anymore. He was ready to move on.”
Seconds another source: "Jessica and John are done. She is really bummed, but wants to put her best foot forward and continue being out and about. She is just having fun and not interested in any new boys.”
But don't count them out yet. Another friend close to the couple tells Usmagazine.com that the split “is more of a cooling down.”
"The same sense of excitement and interest just isn't there as much,” says the source. “I have no sense of a tearful breakup or anything like that. It's just losing steam. It is more of a separation."
