An auction took place yesterday in London to sell several nude photographs of the most popular model in the world.
One of the pictures, which was nearly two square metres in size, was sold for $108,000, nearly five times what it was estimated to earn. Christie's also sold a 1996 portrait for $76,800.
The most expensive item was a series of photographs that featured the model without makeup. The expected revenue from the series was $40,000, but actually was sold for $168,000.
